General Clinical Research Center the UW Medical Center
The GCRC is located in the South Tower of the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC).
Once inside the UWMC, look for signs to the Pacific Elevators
and take the elevator to the seventh floor. Exit to the right and take a second right.

You will see the Clinical Research Center sign and reception desk, where you can check in.

The Nutrition Research Kitchen is located two floors
below the main GCRC floor. Take the Pacific Elevators
to the fifth floor and exit to the right. Take a right turn down a hall. Just before the
end of the hall, take another right. Straight ahead is the kitchen (with a sign above it that
says "Nutrition Research Kitchen"). Holly Callahan, MS, RD, is to the left of the kitchen in Room
CC521. Call if you get lost (206-598-4529).

Your study coordinator may provide you with green validation stickers to validate your parking
in the Triangle parking garage. If you have an overnight stay at the GCRC, you will need
to get a validation sticker for every day that you are with us. The GCRC does not supply
Triangle parking validation stickers, so be sure to ask your study coordinator for these.
If your study coordinator does not provide validation stickers for your parking, the General
Clinical Research Center can provide you with a signed and dated statement to verify to the
parking attendant that you were a research subject on the GCRC. Your cost for parking is based
on the length of time parked, and is reduced from the regular parking rate. If you stay
overnight on the GCRC, you only need one parking statement for your entire stay.

at (206) 598-6301 or to the office of the Triangle Garage supervisor at (206) 598-4151.
Parking for persons with disabilities is provided near the emergency entrance to the hospital
in lot S10. After turning left from Montlake Blvd. onto NE Pacific St., move into the far left
lane. Turn left at the "Emergency Entrance/ Disability Parking" sign. At the gatehouse,
identify yourself as mobility impaired, purchase a parking permit and obtain any necessary
directions.

The Pediatric CRC is in the Whale Zone of the Seattle Campus of Children's Hospital and Regional Medical
Center. Take the Whale elevators to the sixth floor. Go past the main lobby and Clinic Check-in on your
left (open atrium to lower floors is on your right) to the end of the hallway. The main office of the
PCRC will be straight ahead, in room 6605. Welcome!
